Cellular Jail visit and light & sound show

A half-day tour of Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, offers a compact yet enriching experience of this beautiful coastal city. The tour usually begins with a visit to the historic Cellular Jail, a colonial-era prison that stands as a symbol of India’s struggle for independence. Known as “Kala Pani,” the jail has preserved its imposing architecture and displays exhibits that tell stories of freedom fighters’ resilience. If time permits, witnessing the Light and Sound Show in the evening is highly recommended, as it powerfully depicts the lives of prisoners during British rule.

Our tour executive will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the Cellular Jail and the light & sound show at 4 pm. He will drop you off at the hotel after the completion of the light and sound show.
