About Airport:

The Port Bair Airport is the most important or main Airport serving the Andaman and Nicobar Island of India and it's an international airport with a limited number of airlines operating at the airport. The Airport is named after the freedom fighter Veer Savarkar, who spent 10 years as a prisoner at the infamous Cellular Jail. The passenger terminal with a capacity of 400 passengers. The Airport has a 3,290m in length single runway. All the air traffic operations over Port Blair are undertaken by the Indian Navy except for the civilian terminal. The group of islands is a union territory of India, located in The Bay of Bengal. Air India, GoAir, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Vistara serve Port Blair from major cities and there is the availability of both direct flights service from a few cities and also connecting flights.  

Terminals Guide:

The Veer Savarkar International Airport consists of one terminal only and the passenger terminal has the capacity of handling 400 passengers. The aircraft parked on the buses are used to provide transportation from the terminal and the terminal covers 6100 square meters of area. New terminal building construction is in progress.
