About Indore Airport

The Indore Airport is known as Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport.  It was named after Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore.
Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport is an international airport, and is regarded as one of the busiest airport of Madhya Pradesh. 

The Indore airport is the 20th busiest airport of India and it operates under  Airports Authority of India(AAI). The Airport handles both domestic and International flights. The Airport has 5600 feet long runway and its airfield  is equipped to avail Night Landing facilities. The Airport is recorded as the UK bestowed Worlds Standardization Certification to Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport. The Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, provides all the facilities for their passengers convenience and also working on various facilities to cater to the growing demands of passengers at the airport. 

Terminals Guide:

Currently the Indore Airport has three terminals- domestic, international and cargo terminal:

The terminal 1 of Indore Airport is used for handling Domestic flights. The domestic terminal at the Indore airport is very well equipped and highly developed. Modern escalators, high tech baggage handling system, two lifts and two escalators are available to assist the passengers. Air India, jet Airways, Jet Connect, IndiGo, Spice Jet and Ventura Air Connect are some of the domestic flight operators which provides various domestic flight offers to Indore. 

Terminal 2 of Indore Airport is used for handling International flights. The International terminal was inaugurated on 14th February 2012 and has the capacity of handling 700 passengers in an hour. Catering to the movement of 46 flights in a day.  e terminal has 16 check-in counters, 16 immigration counters and four counters for customs. 

The terminal 3 of Indore Airport is used for handling cargo. The cargo terminal of the airport is well maintained with huge warehouses, adequate facilities and strict security. Indore is a popular port for imports and exports.
