About Airport:
Rajiv Gandhi International Airport also known as Hyderabad International Airport or RGIA, is an international airport serving Hyderabad located at Shamshabad. The Airport was named after Rajiv Gandhi, the former Prime 
Minister of India. The airport is spread over 5,495 acres. Out of which 2000 acres have been developed towards airport needs which mainly constitutes 1,700 acres of land is airside and 300 acres of land is landside facilities. 
The remaining 3,495 acres is the expansion of the airport. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is India's second public-
private partnership airport venture after Cochin International Airport. Its domestic terminal is named after former 
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao. It is the sixth-busiest airport in India by international and overall passenger traffic. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport was the highest-ranked Indian airport by Skytrax in 2013. It serves as a hub for Spicejet, Lufthansa Cargo, TruJet, and Blue Dart Aviation and as a focus city for Air India, Jet Airways, and JetLite. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has one terminal for both international and domestic flights.

Currently, the Hyderabad Airport has an Integrated terminal that operates domestic and international flights:

Integrated Terminal
RGIA has a single integrated passenger terminal, which covers 105,300 m2. The western side of the terminal handles international flights while the eastern side is for domestic operations. To facilitate passenger convenience, there are 96 check-in counters and 19 self-check-in Kiosks for passengers carrying only cabin baggage. RGIA is the first Indian airport to install four levels of the in-line baggage handling system. RGIA has a dedicated transfer desk, first-of-its-kind, to assist transfer passengers. Located at Arrivals, Belt No 2, the transfer desk assists passengers in Domestic to Domestic and Domestic to International transfers. A Lost and Found Counter has been set up. In case any passenger has misplaced/lost any of his or her belongings before their flights, and they are sure that it happened inside the airport terminal building. Passengers can utilize mobile phones, tablets, or laptops to browse the Internet via free Wi-Fi. The services are provided by TATA TeleServices Limited. The Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International 
The airport provides two conveniently located prayer rooms within the passenger terminal building.

Connectivity with the City:

Hyderabad Airport has located around 25 km from Hyderabad city. Built to the capacity of 40 million passengers per annum, the Airport is designed to handle New Large Aircraft (NLA), including the Airbus A380. 
It is connected to all major Indian airports within two hours of flying time.  Internationally too, Hyderabad makes an ideal transit point for flights. Pushpak buses are operated by Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation
/Telangana State Road Transport Corporation ("TSRTC”). These are air-conditioned low-floor buses offering safe, 
secure, and comfortable travel between airport and city. Radio Taxi service at the Rajiv Gandhi International 
The airport is provided by leading service providers Meru and Sky cabs for the convenience of our customers. This is an air-conditioned cab service with charges payable based on meter reading at the end of the journey. Radio taxi can’t be pre-booked from Airport.
