Cochin International Airport is located in Kochi state of Kerala, India. Kochi is the most populated city in Kerala. Kochi ranks first in the total number of international and domestic tourist arrivals in Kerala. It is the busiest and largest airport in the state of Kerala. It is also the fourth busiest airport in India in terms of international traffic and the eighth busiest airport in India.

The Cochin airport is a primary base for Air India Express operations which is also headquartered in the city. The airport operates three passenger terminals and one cargo terminal. The main railway line from Kanyakumari to Delhi passes through the airport and the Cochin Sea Port is also situated close. The airport was features modern and traditional architecture unique to Kerala. The Airport has a runway measuring 3,400m long and 45m wide and A 3,400m taxiway is also provided alongside the runway. Cochin International Airport became the world's first fully solar-powered airport.

Terminals Guide:

Terminal 1 (Domestic):
Cochin Airport Domestic Terminal is also known as Terminal 1. It was renovated and opened again in 2018 as it is was the oldest terminal of the airport. The Domestic Terminal has arrival and departure areas. The terminal can handle 4,000 passengers per hour. Terminal 1 has 56 check-in counters, 7 aerobridges, and a conveyor belt system to transfer baggage 6 reserve lounges, an art area, a food court, an executive lounge, and a 4,645-square-metre shopping area. 

Terminal 2 (Executive):
The second domestic terminal is now Known as the Executive Terminal. The terminal can handle 400 passengers at peak times. The terminal has check-in counters, 6 security gates, a common waiting area, a family lounge, and a premium lounge for business class. 

Terminal 3 (International):
Cochin Airport International Terminal, also known as Terminal 3, handles international flights it was inaugurated in 2017. The terminal has a Baggage claim area, a shopping area, and access to transportation. International Terminal. 24 hours open. Services: Food, Showers, TV, Snacks, Smoking area. 

Cargo:
Cochin Airport is one of the largest facilities in India. There are three complexes in the cargo village. It has a total floor space of 11,000 m2 on 20 hectares of land.
