Bhuj Airport located in Bhuj in the Kutch District of the state of Gujarat, India. The Airport is a domestic airport and the Airport occupies a total area of 832 acres. The Airport is located 48 km from the Indo-Pakistan border. The airport shares its runway with the Bhuj Rudra Mata Air Force Base. The airport was previously made up of two bunkers/buildings near the Bhuj Rudra Mata Air Force Base, with which it shares the runway.

On one side of the passing road there was an Indian Airlines bunker and on the other side a Jet Airways bunker. From there a coach would transport passengers across the Indian Air Force grounds to the small departures terminal. The airport has a 71,920 square feet area on the ground floor and 14,880 square feet on the first floor. It has two boarding gates and has the capacity for up to 200 people arriving and 200 people departing. The Airport provides all the necessary facilities for the travelers' convenience.

Terminals Guide:

The airport has a single terminal that handles all arrivals and departures. The terminal can handle 350 passengers at a time. The terminal is also equipped with  1 X-ray baggage facility, trolleys, wheelchair assistance to physically challenged and aged passengers, facilities for lost and found baggage are available. There is no facility for shopping at Bhuj airport but a snack bar is available. There are four check-in counters and one security counter and one entry gate.

Bhuj city is located in the northwest part of Gujarat at a distance of around 400 Km from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, the state capital. Being centrally situated in the district, and second-largest city of Kachchh, Bhuj is of strategic importance for the development of the region. The city is a commercial center for wheat, barley, cattle, cotton, and salt produced in the hinterland. Handicrafts include the manufacture of cotton cloth and silver items. Bhuj is the site of the country‚Äôs first large-scale experiment with solar pond technology, and it has several colleges.
