About Belgaum Airport:

Belgaum Airport is the oldest airport in Karnataka Belgaum, Karnataka, India. The airport is spread over 440 acres and its apron can handle two ATR-72 aircraft. Belgavi airport is a small airport that can handle only two aircrafts. Near the airport, there is an Indian Air Force station, it is a Non-flying Basic Training Institute of the Indian Air Force.

The government has acquired 298 acres of land around the airport to hand over to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for expansion of the airport. The airport has a 2190 metres long runway, and it can only handle one or two aircrafts.  It is small in size so it cannot handle as many aircrafts; this limits the destinations it can go to all over the world.

It is limited to destinations like Bangalore, Chennai, Jabalpur, and Mumbai only. These are national cities that the airport can handle. It is not an international airport but it is a national airport. The Airport also features the VIP terminal. The Airport has all the facilities for their passengers customers. SpiceJet is the only airline operate schedule flight to Bangalore, Chennai, Mangalore and Mumbai from this Airport.

Belgaum Airport has only one terminal: 
The terminal handles domestic flights and passengers only. A new terminal building was inaugurated on 14 September 2017.It is a very important airport since it serves a good number of visitors who come visiting the country. The existing airport terminal building has been upgraded. The upgrades include an air-conditioned security zone, three check-in counters with feeder conveyor belts, a spacious arrival hall with conveyors, a VIP room, space for four airline offices, surveillance CCTV cameras, security control room and parking facility for 50 cars.

Belguam is located in the Indian state of Karnataka. Belgaum is one beautiful place in Karnataka known for its peaceful
