Lengpui Airport is located in Aizawl, Mizoram, India and it is a domestic airport. The Lengpui Airport of
Aizawl is the only medium of air travel to the state of Mizoram. Lengpui Airport is the first large airport in the country to be built by the State Government. s completed in a record time of two years and two months. The 2500 meter runway of the Lengpui Airport is unique in that it has many hilly streams. At present, Lengpui Airport has installed Cat-I Instrument Landing System. which will help planes land safely during low visibility conditions.
The Indian Air Force is planning to station at least 4 jet fighters at Aizawl airport. Indian Oil handles the Aviation fuel service department of the Aizawl airport. There are chargeable 120 lots of car parking space available in this Airport.
