Day 2 Madurai to Rameshwaram

After breakfast, proceed on a scenic drive towards Rameshwaram, located approximately 175 km from Madurai. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India, famous for its long pillared corridors and 22 holy theerthams (sacred wells). Pilgrims often take a ritual dip at Agni Theertham, the holy seashore located near the temple.
